Thursday, August 24th, 2023, the permanent Coordination Team of the Public Health Emergency Operation Coordination Center (PHEOCC) Lead by the Coordinator, Dr. Alain Georges ETOUNDI MBALLA, host a team of Officers from the United State of America’s Department of Defense and Civil Affairs (DODCA) at the PHEOCC conference room. Their main objective was to understand the functioning of the PHEOCC as well as discussed on the major activities, challenges and prospective of the center. The coordinator of the PHEOCC took stage, welcome everyone, and this was followed by the presentations of all participants, before the commencement of presentations. Presentations were centered on the overview of the PHEOCC and its functionality not living out the challenges and the prospects the center has. This was followed by a guided tour of the center.
The visit culminated with a family photo and appreciation from both the officers and the PHEOCC Coordinator.
